It is part of the VaynerX family of companies.   Commercial Finance Analyst Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office) About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team in New York. This opportunity is ideal for someone early in their finance career who is eager to learn, develop strong financial operations skills, and work cross-functionally with teams across the business. In this role, you will support financial operations and reporting for the VaynerMedia New York region and EVA-related workstreams, helping ensure financial processes run smoothly while contributing to budgeting, revenue analysis, and operational finance activities. This role offers strong exposure to commercial finance, financial reporting, and operational decision-making within a collaborative environment. What You'll Do:  Support financial operations and reporting across the New York commercial finance team  Assist with budget tracking, forecasting support, and financial analysis  Support the monthly close process  Work with the Shared Services team to assist in managing and tracking the invoicing process and ensuring clients pay accurately and on time  Analyze budgets, costs, and financial performance metrics  Work cross-functionally with Client Services, Project Management, Accounting, and Finance teams  Maintain financial data and reporting within tools such as Excel/Google Sheets and ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle NetSuite What We're Looking For:  0–2 years of experience in commercial finance, finance, accounting, financial operations, or another finance-oriented role  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Communications, or a related field  Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills  Strong analytical and problem-solving ability  Highly detail-oriented and organized  Strong communication and collaboration skills  A proactive go getter mindset with a desire to learn      Highly organized, highly motivated, goal and detail-oriented self-starter who is looking to jump in and embrace the Commercial Finance team structure and responsibilities.  The task at hand: Work with the following Departments to understand business priorities and portfolio-specific financial needs: Financial Operations and cross-functional partnership with Shared Services (A/P and A/R), Accounting, Client Services and Project Management Liaison with the Shared Services (A/R) team, working closely with direct oversight to track the invoicing process using Netsuite (ERP), from invoice creation to ensuring Client’s payments occur timely and accurately while maintaining a strong Client relationship Coordinate with Shared Services & Treasury to follow-up & analyze overdue A/R Responsible for preparing monthly revenue recognition, including coordination with Accounting as part of the monthly closing process  Provide support to the Financial Operations Lead throughout the monthly close, including ensuring all monthly invoicing has been completed and tra
