Role Overview
The Commercial Execution Specialist, EP EMEA is an individual contributor role within the Sales Force Effectiveness & Commercial Execution team, reporting to the Commercial Operations & SFE Senior Manager, EP EMEA. The role acts as a day-to-day commercial execution partner to local EP Commercial Excellence (CommEx), Regional Sales Managers and leadership teams in a specific G5 country (FR, IT, or ES), helping convert EMEA priorities into consistent local execution.
This role combines performance insight with execution discipline: translating data into clear actions, strengthening commercial routines (business rhythm, performance management, pipeline discipline), and improving adoption of key tools and standards (e.g., OneForce, CartoDay). The Commercial Execution Specialist brings a “voice of the field” perspective back to EMEA EP, ensuring initiatives are practical, scalable and grounded in market realities.
While the primary focus is one G5 country, the role may also support priorities across other EP EMEA geographies, including Mid-Sized and Emerging Markets, through best-practice sharing, templates and enablement.
This role is well-suited to high-potential commercial, sales, or clinical talent with EP field understanding looking to get exposure to market leadership routines, cross-functional stakeholders and regional ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
1) Execute EP EMEA strategic deep-dives and analyses
• Conduct targeted SFE and commercial execution deep-dives to identify performance gaps and root causes (e.g., coverage effectiveness, call/activity quality, territory capacity, funnel conversion, account prioritisation).
• Translate insights into clear, decision-ready narratives and practical recommendations for local CommEx and field leadership (what to change, why, and expected impact).
• Build repeatable analytical templates and “standard work / template” outputs so insights can be scaled across G5 and reused in Mid-Sized/Emerging markets.
• Support business reviews by preparing performance packs, trend interpretations, and follow-up tracking of actions and outcomes.
2) Drive change management and SFE adoption as a trusted partner
• Partner with local CommEx and sales leadership to plan, land, and sustain execution changes (routines, governance, tool adoption, and performance management)
• Embed a disciplined operating rhythm (e.g., weekly/monthly routines, review cadences, action tracking) aligned to EMEA standards while accounting for local market realities.
• Actively surface risks, barriers, and dependencies (process, people, data, tool constraints) and propose mitigation plans in partnership with the Commercial Operations & SFE Senior Manager.
• Support continuous improvement of OneForce/CartoDay workflows (data flows, user experience, reporting outputs) to enable consistent execution discipline.
3) Coordinate incentive management in the local market and EP EMEA
• Drive alignment with local CommEx teams and collaborate on Reward & Recognition and incentive management, with local CommEx responsible for operational execution
• Support incentive reporting cycles, incentive simulations and payout curve health reviews
• Prepare analyses that highlight risk areas (over/under-incentivised behaviours, unintended consequences, budget volatility) and propose adjustments for stakeholder discussion.
• Partner with Reward & Recognition stakeholders to ensure insights are translated into actionable recommendations and decision support.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in Electrophysiology in either Clinical, Sales, or Commercial Excellence roles; strong understanding of customers, procedures and field realities.
• Demonstrated ability to use data to drive decisions and actions (e.g., identifying performance gaps, prioritising interventions, tracking outcomes).
• Strong structured problem-solving skills: able to break down ambiguous questions, develop a clear approach, and deliver high-quality outputs with pace.
• Comfortable influencing without authority; able to partner with local stakeholders (Sales, CommEx, HR, IT, Analytics) to drive adoption and follow-through.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal): able to convert complex analysis into clear, decision-ready narratives (“so what / now what”).
• Technical skills: confident in Excel/PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM/SFE tools and dashboards (e.g., OneForce/CartoDay, Power BI or similar) is an advantage but not required.
• Fluent English required; local language capability for the supported country is a strong advantage.
• High-performing Clinical Specialists and Sales Specialists with strong EP expertise and an analytical mindset are encouraged to apply.
Success Profile
The successful Commercial Execution Specialist, EP EMEA will:
• Build strong credibility with local CommEx and field leadership teams by combining EP field understanding with structured, fact-based problem solving.
• Consistently translate performance data into clear priorities and actions, resulting in measurable execution and/or sales improvements.
• Contribute to scalability across EP EMEA by creating reusable templates, playbooks and best practices t hat can be adopted by other markets.
