Job Summary Assists Construction Loan Manager with processing and funding new loan requests and servicing the loans during the construction phase. Job Description SCHEDULE Full-Time LOCATION Hybrid work schedule; majority in-office with some remote availability Mountain America Center 9800 S Monroe St Sandy, Utah To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty successfully. • Requests, follows up and verifies financial and project information to determine compliance with loan guidelines, including but not limited to inspections, title commitments, appraisals, cost breakdown, draw requests, environmental reports, geotech reports, contracts, etc. • Boards Commercial Construction Loans to Loan Origination System • Disburses checks accurately on draw requests • Balances cost breakdown line items for each draw request, using excel spreadsheets. • Prepares and sends monthly interest statements • Processes checks received • Communicates effectively with all parties involved in a construction loan transaction, including owners, borrowers, attorneys, title officers, insurance agents, contractors, inspectors, etc. • Coordinates loan and draw processing with CRE and SBA Business Development Officers, Underwriters and Servicing. • Performs personal inspections of construction project sites. • Updates procedure manuals as needed • Keeps the Construction Loan Manager informed on the status of files on a regular basis. • Performs other duties as assigned. Experience One to two years of similar or related experience. Education Equivalent to a two-year college degree or equivalent experience ~ Licenses, Certificates, Registrations None Required Managerial Responsibility Has no supervisory/ managerial responsibilities Language Skills Must have the ability to read, understand and carry out instructions in written and oral form. Other Skills and Abilities Training experience and excellent communication skills required.  Must be adept at problem-solving and interact well with people.  Processing and/or underwriting experience in commercial or residential construction lending a plus. PHYSICAL ABILITIES AND WORKING CONDITIONS Physical Demands Requires Frequent Standing, Walking, Sitting, using hands to handle or feel, Reaching with hands and arms, Talks and Hears.  Occasionally climbs, kneels or crawls. Driving on company business. Vision Requirements Requires Close, Distance, color, Peripheral and Depth perception vision as well as the ability to focus. Weight Lifted or Force Exerted Frequently lifts up to 10 lbs, occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds and rarely lifts up to 100 pounds. Environmental Office Type conditions, indoors.  Occasional outdoor assignments. Noise Environment Moderate Noise such as in a business office with equipment and light traffic.
