Account Executives at Klaviyo are given a tremendous opportunity to have a huge impact on Klaviyo’s prospects, on Klaviyo’s trajectory and as a result, on themselves. At Klaviyo, AEs pride themselves on being product experts who focus on closing deals the right way—with the right customers whom they set up for success.
As a Commercial AE , you will run the entire sales cycle for our SMB prospects—from qualification to demo to driving the buying process to close—all while managing a high-velocity pipeline. Location: This role is hybrid and based out of our Sydney, Australia office.

Who You Are
Experienced: 3+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years specifically in SaaS or Martech in a new logo acquisition role.
Commercial Mindset: Proven track record of managing SMB or Commercial-sized deals with multiple stakeholders.
Collaborative: Ability to build relationships with internal (BDRs, Marketing, Ops, Partnerships) and external (clients, agencies) stakeholders.
Self-Starter: You define yourself as an energetic, results-oriented individual who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.
Data-Driven: A track record of using data to inform decision-making and managing pipeline accurately.
Strategic & Independent: A results-oriented, highly motivated attitude and the ability to work independently to execute sales strategies.
AI Fluent: You’ve already experimented with AI in work or personal projects and are excited to responsibly explore new AI tools to make your work smarter and more efficient.
Local Compliance: Eligible to work in Australia without restrictions.
Soft Skills & Tools
Exemplary presentation and communication skills.
Strong sense of curiosity with a bias towards action.
Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, Gong , Clari
Experience with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, Command of the Message).
Klaviyo in APAC:
We are “1% done” but have big plans for Klaviyo in APAC. Our Sydney team began to take shape throughout 2022 and has now built out our go to market teams in sales, customer success, services, partnerships, marketing, employee experience and product support. We opened our Singapore Hub in late 2025 and are scaling fast. As the team grows we will see a continued expansion of Klaviyo’s customer base and the building of a fantastic working culture in line with what we see elsewhere in Klaviyo but with its own local ide
