Responsibilitie Woodcraft Millwork , a respected and expanding commercial millwork manufacturer, is seeking a Cabinet Vision Programmer to join our team in Canton, MA . If you have 3+ years of experience in architectural millwork and strong skills in AutoCAD and Cabinet Vision , this is an opportunity worth exploring. Why Experienced Programmers Are Joining Woodcraft • Competitive Pay: Earn up to $35/hour, based on experience • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid time off, paid holidays—including a full paid shutdown week for the 4th of July—and one floating holiday • Growth Opportunity: Join a rapidly expanding, family-owned company where your contributions are visible and valued • Unique, High-End Projects: Work on custom builds across restaurants, hospitality, healthcare, retail, and more • Work-Life Balance: Early shift options (Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM or 6:00 AM–2:30 PM) to help you stay ahead of traffic and enjoy your afternoons Duties & Responsibilities • Interpret architectural and shop drawings to ensure accurate production output • Design and program cabinetry using Cabinet Vision, Biesse Works and AutoCAD • Generate CNC-ready programs, including material optimization (yielding) and cut lists • Collaborate with production teams to ensure parts are accurately labeled, machined, and prepared for assembly • Assist with CNC machine setup and operation as needed • Perform grain matching and ensure high-quality visual standards • Complete material takeoffs and support production planning • Develop and modify CNC programs for woodworking machines such as CNC milling machines and Beam Saws. • Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise machining operations aligned with design specifications. • Set up CNC machines by selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures, and parameters to optimize machining processes while adhering to safety standards. • Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve workflow efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity. • Collaborate with design engineers and machinists to refine tooling setups and machining strategies for complex projects involving geometry calculations and mechanical knowledge. Skills • Expertise in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation. • Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices to streamline operations and improve efficiency. • Mechanical aptitude with understanding of tooling selection, geometry principles, and machining processes. • Ability to operate precision measuring instruments including bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other precision tools. • Excellent math skills for calculations related to tool paths, tolerances, and dimensions. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot CNC issues quickly and effectively.
