John Loughnane & Sons Joinery Works Ltd. are currently looking for CNC Operators for their site located at Monivea , Athenry, Co. Galway. Key Responsibilities of the role: -Safely set up, cycle, and operate woodworking CNC machinery to cut, shape, and drill materials to exact specifications -Read and interpret detailed drawings, architectural blueprints, and workshop cutting lists -Use CAD/CAM software and nesting programs to program machine paths and optimize raw material usage, reducing waste -Choose the correct tooling, speeds, and feeds appropriate for various hardwoods, softwoods, and manufactured panels. -Measure components and conduct thorough inspections of finished pieces against shop drawings before they move to the assembly stage. -Perform daily routine maintenance, clear waste/debris, and troubleshoot minor mechanical or software issues. -A clean, organized work environment and strictly adhere to all workshop safety and PPE standards. Qualifications & Requirements: -Proven experience operating and programming woodworking CNC machinery (ideally 2- 5 years ) in a joinery, cabinet making, or furniture manufacturing setting. -Strong ability to understand technical joinery drawings Remuneration is €36,605 per annum based on a standard 39 hour week.
