In this position, you will be responsible for the machining of aluminium profiles. You operate various set-up turning and/or milling machines where series or single pieces are machined. You will machine up to 7 products simultaneously. The main tasks are to clamp and check products using various measuring tools. Ultimately, you are the person who can be flexibly deployed on the various CNC machines, such as Hermle, Matec and Chiron MPS. In this position, there are many training and advancement opportunities within the CNC department. A day with Boudewijn The machining department’s high-tech machinery consists of ca. 32 CNC machine tools with both fully automated and semi-automated machines. It works to tolerances of ± 0.02 mm and wall thicknesses from 0.25 mm. Profile sizes range from Ø 3mm to Ø 180mm. The department also comprises the tool shop, work preparation and service department. What we expect from you You are eager to learn, accurate and pragmatic; You have technical affinity and experience with reading drawings; You have knowledge of the Dutch language, both oral and written; You are willing to work three shifts; You have experience with product checks (this is a strong advantage).
