Role: CMM Inspector
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Onsite – 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum + Benefits
Location: South Molton
Owen Daniels are supporting a leading manufacturing company, and we are looking for a CMM Inspector to join on a permanent basis, due to growth in the business.
CMM Inspector – Key responsibilities:
• Inspect aerospace components using CMM equipment and standard measurement tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Create, operate and maintain CMM programmes while following engineering drawings, GD&T requirements and customer specifications.
• Complete First Article Inspections, in-process checks and final inspections in line with AS9102 and quality standards.
• Review inspection data, investigate issues and support corrective actions, audits and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain quality records, support manufacturing teams and assist with equipment calibration, training and new product checks.
CMM Inspector - Essential Skills & Experience:
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment, ideally within a regulated industry.
• Previous experience in Quality Inspection, using measurement equipment such as micrometres, gauges and callipers.
• A minimum of 12 months’ experience in a quality inspection or similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
