We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer who is passionate about cloud platforms, automation, and operational excellence. In this role, you will transform architectural vision into scalable, secure, and production-ready Azure solutions that enable teams worldwide to innovate faster and operate with confidence. Working closely with Cloud Architecture, Security, and Operations leaders, you will help design and deliver enterprise-grade cloud capabilities, modernize infrastructure, and drive platform engineering best practices across a complex global environment. What You'll Do Drive Enterprise Cloud Transformation • Bring cloud architecture strategies to life by implementing Azure landing zones, reference architectures, governance standards, and reusable engineering patterns. • Partner with Cloud Architects and Operations teams to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and operationally ready. • Translate business, security, and technical requirements into high-quality cloud solutions that deliver measurable value. Build and Evolve Azure Platform Services • Design and engineer enterprise Azure services supporting global business-critical workloads. • Develop secure, cloud-native and hybrid-cloud platforms that accelerate application modernization and Azure adoption. • Enhance platform capabilities across networking, identity, security, storage, compute, containers, and application services. Champion Automation and Platform Engineering • Create reusable Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines. • Develop self-service capabilities, service catalogs, standardized templates, and "golden path" deployment experiences. • Drive engineering consistency through automation, reducing manual effort while improving speed, quality, and governance. Embed Security, Reliability and Cost Optimization • Implement secure-by-design solutions aligned with Azure best practices, Zero Trust principles, and enterprise governance requirements. • Build observability capabilities using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, dashboards, alerting, and operational automation. • Partner with teams to improve cloud efficiency, cost transparency, and FinOps outcomes. Lead Through Technical Excellence • Influence engineering quality through technical reviews, mentoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational readiness assessments. • Identify opportunities for modernization, automation, and continuous improvement across the Azure estate. • Serve as a trusted technical partner across architecture, security, operations, and application teams. What You'll Bring Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. • 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or related technology roles. • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and delivering Azure solutions in enterprise environments. • Strong expertise across Azure infrastructure, networking, security, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, and governance services. • Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and CI/CD practices using Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and related technologies. • Proven ability to implement secure cloud solutions using Azure Policy, Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Key Vault, RBAC/PIM, and compliance controls. • Experience supporting production environments, operational readiness, reliability engineering, troubleshooting, and service transition. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams. • Experience with hybrid cloud environments, Azure Arc, and cloud migration initiatives. Preferred Qualifications • Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or Azure Security Engineer Associate. • Experience delivering large-scale cloud transformation and modernization programs. • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AKS, and containerized platforms. • Experience working within global and highly regulated organizations. • Passion for automation, platform engineering, developer enablement, and continuous improvement.
