Description: Windom Area Health is seeking a full-time ( 0.9 FTE) Clinical Support Specialist to provide clinical and administrative support for the Specialty Clinics operations. This role serves as a liaison between patients, providers, and departments to ensure effective communication and coordinated care. Responsibilities include assisting nurses with direct patient care tasks, managing provider schedules and calendars, supporting health maintenance and referrals, gathering medical records, and preparing patient education materials. Requirements: Strong communication, customer service skills and basic computer proficiency (EMR experience preferred) are essential. A high school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of healthcare experience and knowledge of medical terminology is required; CNA or MA certification is preferred. BLS certification is required. This position will be primarily Monday–Friday, with occasional extended hours as clinics run late and opportunities to volunteer at community or organizational events to promote clinic services. Pay range: $19.40 - $27.16/hr *Rates offered will reflect applicable experience.
