STATUS: Full-Time LOCATION: Clifton Springs Nursing Home DEPARTMENT: Long Term Care SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, every other weekend ATTRIBUTES • Two (2) years of RN experience preferred • Experience with the geriatric population preferred • Compassionate, kind and patient focused • Demonstrated leadership and communication abilities RESPONSIBILITIES • Unit & Staff Management. Round on staff and physicians; resolve any issues or concerns found while rounding; complete rounding log and report to Nurse Manager; identify all high risk residents and ensure plan of care is current; ensure appropriate number of staff is available on unit at all times • Communication & Evaluation. Ensure staff is recognized for hard work and jobs well done; communicate any staffing needs to Nurse Manager; coach staff privately when needed REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Associates degree in Nursing required • BLS required • Current New York State Registered Nurse License PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s of Nursing preferred. • 2 years RN experience preferred •  Experience with frail, elderly/geriatric population preferred EDUCATION: AS: Nursing (Required) LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)New York State Education Department (NYSED) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. PAY RANGE: $42.18 - $55.43 CITY: Clifton Springs POSTAL CODE: 14432 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
