Focus on leadership and smooth operational running rather than management duties. 2. Vet Surgeon Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 Suitable for vets with at least 2 years of experience handling surgery and consultations. Responsibilities include routine surgeries, some emergency cases, morning operations, admissions, and afternoon consults. Role Highlights for Both Positions 40 hours per week (4 x 10-hour shifts) No out-of-hours commitments Clinical freedom within an independent, well-resourced practice £1000 annual CPD allowance Permanent positions — no locum cover needed About the Practice Established in 2007, this small animal first-opinion practice operates from a single site with 3 consultation rooms and 1 theatre.
