Job Overview:
The Client Services Coordinator with a focus on billing is responsible for coordinating client intakes, managing billing, and handling school-based counseling referrals. This role also involves greeting clients, answering phone inquiries, and supporting Samaritan’s team of therapists.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinates intakes by gathering required information, scheduling with appropriate therapist, verifying insurance benefits, entering client information into TherapyNotes database, and granting access to portal or mail paperwork
• Prepares, reviews, and sends client billing monthly
• Follows up with client balances
• Coordinates school-based counseling referrals including making contact, going through intake process, and updating roster
• Greets clients at reception desk when front desk personnel are not available.
• Answers phone and greets visitors
• Responds to information requests from clients
• Responds to all phone inquiries regarding first appointments
• Answers questions from new or existing clients
• Other duties as assigned by Administrative Manager

Education & Experience:
• Medical Practice Billing Experience: 2+ Years
• EHR Systems: 2 years+ (Preferred)
• Experience working in a mental health setting
