Description
Job Title: Client Delivery Lead   Location: (including hybrid): Melbourne, Australia Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 + Superannuation Team: Client Delivery  Reporting To: Lead Programme Manager  Kaluza reimagines energy to bring net-zero within everyone’s reach. Our intelligent Platform enables energy utilities to unlock the full value of a radically changing energy system and propel us to a future where renewable energy is sustainable, affordable and accessible for all.  From automating and simplifying core operations including billing to create a lower-cost, higher-engagement experience, to optimising energy usage across smart devices in the home, we turn tough challenges into win-win-win outcomes for customers, suppliers and the energy system.  We champion a flexible, hybrid work approach and we find that teams often benefit from coming together in the office at least 3 days a week to foster connection and accelerate progress.  Outside of these collaborative opportunities, we aim to be as flexible as possible to balance work with life. As a company we come together annually for our conference and end of year celebrations!  Our goal is to build a self-sufficient and empowered team here on the ground in Australia. We’re well on our way, but until we get there we still have some reliances on our UK team. Being comfortable working flexibly for a portion of your working week to cover time zones is required. What will I be doing? The Client Delivery Lead is Kaluza's client-facing interface, working in close partnership with other roles across Client Delivery, Product and Engineering to support and progress a client's relationship with Kaluza. This spans new implementations and migrations through to steady-state support, continuous improvement, and proactively identifying opportunities the client hasn't yet asked for. That requires a genuine working understanding of Kaluza's platform. You'll identify client problems and shape solutions that make the best use of existing capability where possible, and push for new capability where it's genuinely needed. You're expected to build enough hands-on technical fluency to verify and speak credibly to what Kaluza can and can't do, finding those answers yourself where you can rather than needing someone else to look them up. Your main responsibilities will be: Working in partnership with the wider delivery team to shape and progress your client engagement, whatever form it currently takes: contributing to the approach, the plan, and a documented definition of done, and managing dependencies, risks and blockers through to outcome Ensuring roles and responsibilities across contributing teams are clear and owned Balancing flexibility for the client against efficiency for the platform, knowing when to hold the line on Kaluza's roadmap and when to flex Facilitating workshops and discussions that surface the best outcome for the client and Kaluza, presenting options with clear pros, cons, and trade-offs Building trusted, durable relationships with client stakeholders Communicating progress, risk, and decisions in a way that works at team level and at leadership level Where the client is live on the platform, supporting issue resolution and continuous improvement, for the client and for Kaluza's own teams, since this role doesn't end at go-live, and staying engaged with a client doesn't stop once the programme does Working in partnership with Kaluza's Product, Engineering and Delivery teams to understand platform capability, identifying problems and refining solutions that make the best use of existing and new capability, and supporting those teams through delivery, backed by hands-on fluency with the platform itself (data, APIs, configuration) Proactively identifying new ideas and technology that could improve the product or the client's outcomes, not just responding to requests as they come in Advoc
