I have exclusively partnered with an established Commercial Managing Agents who are looking for Client Accountants to join their team. The company are ready to expand their commercial portfolio and as a company are focused on becoming a leading agency within the London Real Estate market and this is your chance to be apart of that. If you have commercial client reporting and service charge experience, then let's talk about the role and company to see whether it is for you. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and manage service charge budgets and year-end accounts for commercial properties • Client reporting and presentation of accounts to relevant stakeholders. • Ensure accurate and timely billing of service charges, working closely with property managers. • Reconcile service charge accounts, including variance analysis and adjustments. • Liaise with tenants, leaseholders, and external auditors regarding service charge queries and disputes. • Maintain and update financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies. • Assist in forecasting and financial planning for the residential team. Key Requirements: • Experience in service charge accounting, ideally within residential property management. • Strong knowledge of relevant UK legislation, including the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Qube, Yardi, or similar). • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
