Wilco Contractors Northwest Inc. is seeking qualified Class 1 Drivers with extensive experience hauling top soil, gravel in confined residential areas. You will work closely with our team of skilled professionals to ensure timely delivery of materials using safe driving practices. This is a seasonal position, Monday through Saturday, Local to the Edmonton and area. Responsibilities Haul materials to various work sites in Edmonton and the surrounding area in a timely and safe manner Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient and timely deliveries Knowledge of truck routes and City of Edmonton Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections utilizing app (Nektar) Maintain accurate logs of materials and deliveries Operate equipment safely and efficiently Ability to self load with a loader an asset Follow all traffic regulations and company driving policies and procedures Ensure proper securing of all loads prior to transport Communicate effectively with team members, superiors, and clients
