We are looking for a dedicated and relationship-driven Municipal Project Manager to join our team in Vancouver, Washington. We are open to this Project Manager being located near other MacKay branches within the Pacific time zone.

In this role, you’ll lead projects from initial planning through design completion, managing client relationships, project teams, and technical execution. Keys to Success:
Plan, provide design guidance, and manage a variety of civil engineering projects.
Effectively prioritize competing deadlines
Communicate with clients about current projects, identify and position the firm to win future work, and ensure the firm's success.
Effectively supervise technical staff to ensure successful project delivery.
Coordinate cross-functionally with team leads, managers, and shared resources
Prepare and manage project scope, budget, schedule, and meet deliverables.
Interest in business development efforts to cultivate strong client relationships is a plus.
Qualifications:
BS in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Registered PE in the states of Washington and/or Oregon, or the ability to obtain within six months of hire.
At least one year of hands-on experience managing projects, including roadways & associated utility design, ideally with public agency clients (Forest Service, DOTs, other agencies).
5+ years of public works transportation projects experience (public and private)
Experience mentoring civil project engineers and EITs; ability to guide staff in using AutoCAD Civil 3D/Bentley Open Roads.
Previous experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley Open Roads preferred
Experience in specification writing and engineering cost estimate preparation
