Description
  Geometrics Engineering is seeking a highly motivated  Mid-Level Civil Engineer to join our growing Civil and Aviation Practice based in our Pune, India office . This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile aviation and infrastructure projects across the United States and India , supporting some of the most complex and active airport programs. We are looking for a self-driven, high-performing professional who can integrate quickly into existing project teams and contribute meaningfully from day one. The ideal candidate brings a strong sense of ownership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams while delivering high-quality work. This role offers exposure to both design and construction phases , requiring close coordination with project managers, clients, and technical teams in a dynamic, international work environment. . Key Responsibilities   Perform civil design for aviation and infrastructure projects , including grading, drainage, airfield pavement, and utility design Support delivery of projects across U.S. and India aviation and infrastructure programs , working both independently and within established project teams Utilize Autodesk platforms (Civil 3D, Autodesk Construction Cloud) and/or Bentley platforms (MicroStation, OpenRoads, GEOPAK) for design development, coordination, and documentation Provide leadership within project teams by mentoring junior staff, proactively resolving technical challenges, and fostering a collaborative, solutions-oriented environment Coordinate closely with project managers, construction managers, and program controls teams to ensure design alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget Prepare and review design drawings, specifications, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates with a high level of accuracy and quality Participate in constructability reviews and provide practical, field-oriented input during design and construction phases Interface with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies , supporting coordination and technical discussions as needed Support the preparation of technical reports, design memoranda, and construction documents Ensure compliance with FAA, ICAO, local agency, and client-specific standards , as applicable to project requirements     Qualifications   Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred. Candidates with a foreign degree (U.S., U.K., Canada, etc.) will be given strong preference 7–12 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design, preferably with exposure to complex infrastructure projects Experience working with a multinational consulting firm or on international projects is highly desirable Strong proficiency in Civil 3D, ACC, and/or GEOPAK (or equivalent platforms) with demonstrated hands-on design capability Experience in aviation, transportation, or large-scale infrastructure projects preferred; familiarity with FAA, ICAO, or international design standards is a plus Experience supporting or coordinating on U.S. and India aviation and infrastructure projects is highly desirable Proven ability to work in client-facing roles , with strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills Highly self-driven , with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and ability to deliver with minimal oversight Ability to work in-person from the Pune office and collaborate effectively with both U.S. and India-based teams Strong team player with the ability to integrate into multidisciplinary teams and take on leadership responsibilities as needed Professional, adaptable, and capable of performing in fast-paced, high-pressure project environments Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits, client meetings, and coordination with project stakehold
