Join the Dundee Township Park District as a Circle of Friends Care Provider and play a vital role in supporting elementary-aged children through engaging activities that foster personal growth, physical wellness, and positive social development. This part-time position offers meaningful work in a fun and energetic setting.

What You’ll Do:
• Supervise and engage with children during program hours, ensuring a safe and respectful environment
• Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote physical activity, wellness, and personal growth
• Build positive, stable relationships with children and communicate regularly with their families
• Maintain a welcoming and clean environment by setting up and cleaning up activity spaces
• Address behavior in a supportive and constructive manner
• Follow safety and health protocols, including first aid procedures and incident reporting
• Ensure accurate sign-in/sign-out procedures and maintain program documentation
• Communicate program needs, concerns, or incidents to the Site Coordinator
• Collaborate with Park District and School District staff as needed
• Serve as a positive representative of the Dundee Township Park District
What You Bring:
• Experience working with or leading children/youth activities
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to handle situations with professionalism, patience, and empathy
• Basic first aid knowledge (training provided if not certified)
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and teamwork
Schedule:
Weekdays 2pm – 5:30 pm, when school is in session, unless needed to close
