Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Process Technician within the CHPP at our Dawson Mine, on a full-time permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a safety-focused fixed-plant operator with an electrical background experienced in Coal Handing Processing Plants, to join the Production team at Dawson CHPP. Reporting to the Production Shift Supervisor, the CHPP Electrical Process Technician will be responsible for: • Execute operational tasks include performing daily checks within the CHPP, Raw Coal, Product Yard and Overland Conveying System, whilst attending to breakdowns, Process issues, and faults. • Operation of the Train Loadout and Control Room Operations. • Optimise Coal Handling and Preparation Plant operations through quality workmanship. • Collaborate and work effectively with other Maintenance and Production team members, including Contractors, to better manage equipment reliability and resolve problems impacting all areas. • Undertake thorough Inspections of all Plant and Equipment, reporting any defects or required future work. • Accept a high level of ownership around equipment operational performance. • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, attention to detail and quality of work. • Participate in Continuous Improvement Programs that result in higher levels of Plant and Equipment performance and availability. • Maintain a high-level working knowledge of Safety Processes and Procedures. • Ensure compliance with all Anglo American safety and operating systems and a commitment to working together as part of a capable, friendly and professional team to achieve business objectives. You will have a positive and energetic attitude towards team involvement and contribution to the CHPP team. You will want to show exceptional communication and people skills, possessing knowledge and experience with an ability to build relationships and work in a team environment.
