Registered Manager – Children's Residential Care 📍 Leeds | 💰 £50,000 – £55,000 per annum | 🕐 Full-Time, PermanentThis role cannot offer sponsorship Are you an experienced Registered Manager ready for a rewarding and stable opportunity in children's residential care? We are working with a dedicated provider of residential care for children and young people to recruit a Registered Manager for their home based in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a well-established home where the children are settled and a strong, committed staff team is already in place, so you can hit the ground running and focus on what you do best: outstanding leadership and care. About the Role As Registered Manager, you will hold full accountability for the management of the home and the quality of care delivered to its residents. You will lead a dedicated team, ensure full regulatory compliance, and champion a culture where every young person feels safe, supported, and heard. Key responsibilities include:Providing strong, visible leadership and creating a positive, inclusive culture within the homeOverseeing the implementation and review of individual care plans for each residentEnsuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and all relevant legislation, including safeguarding, health & safety, and employment lawManaging budgets and financial activity across the homeRecruiting, supervising, developing and supporting your staff teamRepresenting the home at professional and multi-agency meetingsDriving continuous improvement in the quality of care and outcomes for young peopleAbout the HomeChildren are settled and established within the homeA full staff team is in place, providing a stable foundation for the incoming managerSupported by a committed and experienced senior leadership teamWhat We're Looking ForLevel 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential ChildcareA minimum of 2 years' management and supervisory experience in a residential settingAt least 2 years' experience working with children within the past five yearsStrong knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted inspection frameworksExperience developing placement plans, risk assessments, and needs-based strategiesExcellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skillsA genuine commitment to equality, diversity, and the wellbeing of young peopleWhat's on OfferSalary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)The chance to lead a stable, thriving home with an established teamA supportive organisational culture with a strong ethos around staff developmentA meaningful role where your leadership directly shapes the lives of young peopleHow to Apply If you are an experienced Registered Manager looking for your next challenge with a provider that truly values its people and the children in its care, we would love to hear from you.
