12-month fixed-term contract We are currently recruiting for an experienced senior Childcare Lawyer with 3+years experience to join our client’s business based close to Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire on a full time Hybrid basis. The client offers an enhanced pension of 22%, a generous holiday allowance with the option to purchase more plus many other great benefits. The successful Childcare Lawyer will utilise their skills and expertise to advise public sectors and not for profit clients on a range of childcare matters. Responsibilities of the Childcare Lawyer: • Care proceedings • Adoption • Legal Aid applications • Applications for secure accommodation • Public law outline matters (PLO) • Issues relating to the protection of children and young people • Attending court to conduct advocacy • Revoking placement orders The Childcare Lawyer Candidate: • Lawyers with a minimum of 3 years experience • Experience in childcare law is essential for this role • Shows a strong work ethic • Strong communication skills • IT Proficient • Highly organised with the ability to meet tight deadlines Benefits for the Childcare Lawyer Role: • Salaries range depending on PQE for Lawyer £44,290 - £50,240 / Senior Lawyer £50,790 - £58,168.75 DOE • 22% pension • 25 days holiday (and options to purchase more) • 2 days office attendance • An array of discounts for retailers etc The Client Our client is a highly regarded in house law firm specialising in the public sector.
