As Chief Operations Officer (COO), you will be at the heart of papernest’s operational engine and a key member of the Executive Committee, working hand in hand with the founders Philippe & Benoit. You will have full P&L ownership of the Operations Business Unit across our core markets (France, Spain, and Italy), leading multi-country sites, internal teams, and BPO partners toward operational excellence, industrial scale, and profitable growth. Your responsibilities : Overseeing the Operations Business Unit across all three markets (France, Spain, Italy). Reporting to the Executive Committee and taking full accountability for operational performance and financial results. Defining the Operations P&L strategy and driving its execution to reach financial targets. Building and executing the project roadmap, fostering a culture of continuous innovation. Ensuring seamless collaboration between departments and other Business Units to achieve shared goals. Overseeing global communication across the Business Unit to ensure clarity and consistency Growing and uniting a multi-country managerial line. Team & Scope Overview : Directly or through in-place managers, you will lead and oversee the following operational pillars across France, Spain, and Italy: Regional Operations Management: Driving operational excellence, efficiency, and profitability across the three markets Customer Experience: Overseeing multi-channel customer service and post-sales support. Site Direction & Production Management: Leading internal production sites & BPO partners. Sales Enablement: Optimizing sales journeys, tooling, processes, and telephony infrastructure. Data Operations: Ensuring data reliability, accessibility, and metric-driven management across all operational streams. Other activities & Strategic Initiatives : Talent Attraction & Leadership Growth: Participating in strategic hiring processes to recruit, onboard, and develop top-tier managerial talent. Strategic Deep Dives: Selectively diving into lead qualification, sales transformation, and business-critical operational bottlenecks. Cross-Functional Synergy: Partnering closely with Strategy, Product, and Tech teams to align operational capabilities with overall company scaling goals. Your profile : We are looking for a pragmatic, field-oriented leader who combines sharp analytical rigor with a strong managerial drive: Analytical Rigor & Sharp Business Judgment : Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex situations. Proven Executive Leadership: A strong track record of managing, scaling, and unifying multi-level operational teams and managers. Hands-on Operational DNA: Highly pragmatic and field-oriented, a concrete execution driver rather than a purely theoretical or strategic profile. Seniority: Minimum 10+ years of professional experience, Sales & Conversion Intuition: Strong sensitivity to lead qualification, funnel optimization, and sales transformation dynamics alongside pure operational efficiency.
