Position Overview: We are seeking a strategically minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a key partner to ownership within a family-owned business. This role extends beyond traditional financial oversight - the CFO will play an active role in shaping business strategy, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring the organization is positioned to act on them effectively. The ideal candidate brings strong financial leadership along with a practical, business-oriented mindset and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, owner-led environment. Success in this role requires sound judgment, adaptability, and a willingness to engage directly in the business to drive outcomes - not just report on them. Key Responsibilities: • Partner directly with ownership to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning • Lead financial operations across multiple entities, ensuring clarity, consistency, and scalability • Develop and execute financial strategies that support growth, profitability, and capital efficiency • Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, partners, and key stakeholders to support business objectives • Structure and evaluate financial opportunities, including investments, partnerships, and financing arrangements • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, translating financial data into actionable insights • Ensure appropriate financial controls and compliance while supporting business agility • Assess and support new ventures, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives • Lead and develop the finance function to meet the needs of a growing organization Qualifications: • Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial leader, preferably within privately held or family-owned businesses • Experience working closely with ownership or founder-led organizations • Strong financial, operational, and strategic acumen across multi-entity structures • Demonstrated ability to support growth through financial insight and decision-making • Experience working with lenders, negotiating terms, and supporting deal activity • High level of integrity, judgment, and discretion • CPA, MBA, or equivalent experience preferred What We’re Looking For: • A commercially minded leader who views finance as a driver of business performance • Practical and solutions-oriented, with the ability to move initiatives forward in a dynamic environment • Strong business judgment and a balanced approach to risk and opportunity • Someone who can build structure where it adds value while maintaining flexibility • A trusted partner to ownership who can provide clear, candid input and execute with confidence Compensation & Benefits: • Competitive salary + performance-based incentives tied to business outcomes Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Health insurance • Paid time off Work Location: Remote
