Description
Westminster Towers is a licensed Continuing Care Retirement Community, a faith based, nonprofit organization located in Rock Hill SC in the Metropolitan Charlotte NC area. The CFO will oversee finance, management, and risk management. It is important for a CFO to have strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with colleagues, shareholders, and other stakeholders. The CFO must be able to understand the overall goals and objectives of the company and align their financial strategies accordingly. They must also have a strong understanding of the industry. Responsibilities include supervision of Controller, IT, balance sheet management, investments, debt management, annual operating and capital budgeting, payroll/HR, corporate compliance for Medicare/HIPAA regulations with billing/collection oversight . Requires a close working relationship with the CEO in assuring the implementation of the finance function with the operations of the organization ensuring quality of care and life for the residents while maintaining and growing it's financial stability . Requirements: • A minimum of 5 - 10, years’ experience in a senior role. • CPA designation preferred, not required, College Degree or Master's in Accounting, Finance or Business. • A commitment to quality of care and services to the residents and the mission of the organization as stated in it's founding documents and its Sponsoring entity. • Up to date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications. • Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational and written skills. • Ability to strategize, problem solve and make sound business decisions. • Experience in developing budgets and financial plans. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. • Familiarity with investment management and funding sources. • Demonstrated success in financial planning and analysis, tax planning. • Experience managing financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll and auditing.
