Job description: Vision Flying Training Institute is a fast-growing aviation training organization dedicated to providing high-quality pilot training and aviation education. As the institute expands, we are looking for a capable and motivated CFO to manage financial operations and support strategic growth. Position Summary The CFO will handle key financial functions including accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, compliance, and financial reporting. The role requires strong financial knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to manage day-to-day financial activities efficiently. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Planning & Budgeting • Assist in creating annual budgets and financial forecasts. • Monitor budget vs. actual financial performance. • Provide insights to improve financial planning and resource allocation. 2. Financial Reporting • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Maintain balance sheet, profit & loss statement, and cash flow reports. • Present financial insights to the management team. 3. Operational Finance & Cash Flow • Manage daily cash flow, receipts, and payments. • Oversee fee collections, vendor settlements, and bank-related activities. • Ensure smooth financial operations and working capital management. 4. Compliance & Audit • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements. • Coordinate internal/external audits and maintain proper documentation. • Implement financial controls and policies. 5. Cost Management & Process Improvement • Track expenses and implement cost-saving measures. • Improve workflows and optimize financial processes. • Negotiate with vendors for better financial terms. 6. Risk Management • Identify financial risks and develop preventive measures. • Maintain strong internal controls to avoid discrepancies. 7. Strategic Support • Support management with financial analysis for new programs, expansions, and investments. • Provide recommendations for growth and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA Finance, or related field. • Professional certifications (CA/CMA/ICWA) preferred but not mandatory.. • Candidates who have previously served as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or held a senior finance leadership role will be preferred.
