Job Title: Chef de Partie Location: Oxford Salary: £29,588 - £33,002 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week / 5 days out of 7 (including evenings/weekends on rota) The Opportunity Pineapple Recruitment are collaborating with one of Oxford’s largest and most prestigious colleges, which is seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join its dedicated kitchen team. Our client prides itself on delivering high-quality, diverse cuisine for a wide range of occasions - from daily meals for students and Fellows to prestigious banquets, conferences, and special events. The role: As a Chef de Partie, you’ll be responsible for preparing and producing food to the highest standards across their kitchens. You’ll have the opportunity to lead sections, mentor junior chefs, and occasionally take full charge as the duty chef ensuring excellence in food quality, hygiene, and safety. You’ll be joining a supportive, collaborative team in a stunning 26-acre setting in central Oxford, featuring modern facilities and a long-standing culture of culinary excellence. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards across all kitchen sections. • Maintain excellent food hygiene, allergen control, and health & safety practices. • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in delivering exceptional dining experiences. • Assist with menu planning and contribute creative ideas for seasonal dishes. • Ensure efficient stock control and minimise waste. • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as required.
