This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 1000000 - Rs 1200000 (ie INR 10 - 12 LPA) Min Experience: 1+ years Location: Ahmedabad JobType: full-time We are seeking a Chartered Accountant to become a part of our Accounts & Finance team. The main responsibilities of this role include consolidating financial statements from multiple entities, managing financial reporting, finalizing accounts, and preparing management reports. This role provides valuable experience in group-level financial reporting within a publicly listed company. Requirements Key Responsibilities Consolidation & Financial Reporting (Primary Responsibility) Compile and consolidate financial statements for various group entities and subsidiaries. Perform inter-company reconciliations and elimination entries. Prepare and review the Consolidated Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, and related schedules. Collaborate with different entities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Accounts Finalization & Book Closure Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures. Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards. Examine provisions, accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries. Guarantee the accuracy and completeness of financial records. Budgeting, MIS & Analysis Develop budgets, forecasts, and management reports. Manage cash flow reporting and perform financial analysis. Analyze variances and support management in decision-making processes. Audit & Compliance Liaise with statutory and internal auditors. Prepare schedules, reports, and supporting documents required for audits. Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and reporting standards. Desired Skills Practical experience in consolidating financial statements. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Skilled in accounts finalization and financial statement preparation. Proficient with advanced Microsoft Excel features (including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, reporting, and data analysis). Strong analytical abilities and effective communication skills. Capability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Preferred Background Experience in manufacturing, chemicals, or process industries is advantageous. Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is preferred. Mandatory Requirement Hands-on experience in consolidating financial statements for multiple entities or subsidiaries is crucial for this role and will be a primary factor in candidate selection.
