Description Certified Pedorthist Part-Time (1-2 days onsite) $25-$30/hour Job Overview Do you have a passion for helping others improve their mobility and alleviate foot pain? We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Certified Pedorthist to join our team. As a Pedorthist, you will play a critical role in the health and wellness of your patients by creating customized orthotics and footwear to meet their specific needs. If you have a strong attention to detail and are committed to providing exceptional patient care, this may be the perfect opportunity for you! Responsibilities & Duties • Conducting assessments of patients' feet and lower limbs to determine the cause of their pain or discomfort • Designing and creating custom orthotics and foot wear for patients • Fitting and adjusting orthotics and footwear for optimal comfort and function • Educating patients on proper foot care and orthotic usage • Communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the most effective treatment • Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting all patient interactions • Staying current on industry advancements and continuing education opportunities Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Podiatry, or a related field • Experience working in a clinical setting • Knowledge of current industry advancements and continuing education opportunities • Certification as a Pedorthist • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pedorthic care • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
