Description Schedule: Full-Time | Part-Time Shifts : all At Anacortes Health & Rehabilitation of Cascadia Healthcare , we’re dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality skilled nursing and rehabilitation care that supports our residents in living their best lives. We’re looking for a dependable and caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing team. About You: • Current certification as a CNA in the state of Washington. • Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred. • Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented approach to resident care. Responsibilities: • Provide quality nursing care and assistance with daily living activities, including dressing, grooming, bathing, and personal hygiene. • Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises. • Take and record vital signs, food and fluid intake, and output as directed. • Support residents during meals and ensure their nutritional needs are met. • Communicate changes in the resident's condition to nursing staff promptly. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided. • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members. Licenses/Certification Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment. Valid CPR certificate preferred. Experience Six months experience in a long term-care environment preferred. NOTE: A CNA who successfully completes an approved advanced skills training curriculum and/or has demonstrated experience in a needed clinical specialty area, e.g. ventilator, pulmonary, and tracheostomy (VPT), can be classified as a CNA II. NOTE: All employees of Cascadia Healthcare are required to submit and be cleared to work in the facility per each state’s specific background check requirements prior to contact with patients/residents.
