In 2024, we can proudly say that we are still one of the fastest-growing breweries in the Netherlands. In the last few years we’ve built up the largest beer community in the Netherlands, including up to 6.000 people who are indirectly are co-owner of Frontaal. You might know us of our hero Juice Punch or have drank one of our many one-offs in the last few years. Our mission is simple yet straightforward: crafting flavorful, both traditional and contemporary beers to take our position as one of the top-notch Dutch microbreweries. The slogan "Beer For Thought" isn't arbitrary; it envisions our core values. At Frontaal we place significant emphasis on fostering a sense of teamwork. Our team currently comprises over 30 people, including brewers, sales, marketers, and barstaff. As of 2024, we’ve moved into a brand-new building in the beautiful city of Breda with a state-of-the-art, 60 hectoliter, automated brewing installation from ROLEC, alongside with a new, fully automated canningline. With our ever-growing brewery and an enthusiastic team, we’re on the lookout for a allround brewer to join our brew team! Who we are This is all we want to do, we brew beers that inspire, excite and challenge you to drink something different. There are so many flavours and variations to explore, which is why we brew over 24 unique specials and several barrel aged beers every year. We think from the principle "F*ck the status quo" and we do not make any concessions in quality. No mediocre beer is brewed in our brewery, we think freely and let our creativity flourish. All-round Brewer About the role As an all-round brewer at Frontaal Brewing Company, you'll play a key role in crafting high-quality, innovative beers. Your responsibilities will span the entire brewing process – from recipe development and brewing to cellaring to filling, quality control, and continuous improvement. You’ll be part of a passionate and collaborative team that’s driven by creativity, precision, and a love for craft beer. All-round Brewer What you'll do • Brew beers on our 60HL fully automated ROLEC brewhouse • Manage fermentation and cellaring processes (purging, crashing, dry-hopping, etc.). Be part of the packaging team whenever is needed (kegging and/or canning). • Preform lab analysis and monitor beer quality in the cellar • Design and experiment with new beer recipes • Clean and maintain the brewery (CIP, storage areas, etc.) • Continuously improve processes to boost quality and reduce costs • Collaborate with the team to meet production targets and deadlines • Participate in sensory tastings and quality panels • Be part of the packaging team whenever is needed (Kegging and Canning) All-round Brewer Your profile • Solid knowledge of brewing and cellaring processes • Able to follow detailed recipes and standard operating procedures • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a production/packaging brewery • A formal brewing qualification is a plus; otherwise, a degree in a relevant field (e.g., process technology, chemistry, biology) is preferred • Experience with brewing software (Brewmaxx is a bonus) • Team player who’s also capable of working independently • Strong written and spoken English (Dutch not required) • Creative mindset with a passion for developing new beer styles • Flexible, hands-on attitude – you’re not a 9-to-5 type • Reachtruck certification is a plus All-round Brewer What we offer • A dynamic role at one of the fastest-growing and most ambitious craft breweries of the Netherlands • Be part of one of the largest beer communities in the country due to crowdfunders • 40-hour work week, sometimes late hour shifts if needed. • Competitive salary: €2,500 – €3,400 per month (depending on experience) • 24 vacation days (based on full-time) • Solid retirement plan by Nationale Nederlanden • Informal, tight-knit team – we’re more than colleagues, we’re a family • Access to our monthly Beer Club and exclusive specials • Regular beers at our brewpub and fun team outings • Opportunities to collaborate on international collabs Solliciteer direct Vul het onderstaande formulier in om direct te solliciteren Vacature overzicht Bekijk hier onze vacatures.
