Description
About us We see the semiconductor industry as a realm of possibility. We see opportunity. We see the profound impact that our graphene solutions will have in transforming the industry. We invite you to join us in driving change with our fundamentally human-centered approach, uniting bright minds around a shared vision. The vision is: Prove to everybody that you can make a fundamental change. Prove with your knowledge and skills how things can be done differently. Together, we can change the paradigm of how the world connects About our technology The semiconductor industry’s growing demand for more powerful chips with higher bandwidth and lower power finds its solution in our technology. We connect chips to high-throughput, low-delay computing networks. The key lies in harnessing the physical properties of graphene to combine electronic computing with photonic communication, allowing countless chips to interact almost as if they were one. Our graphene photonic innovation increases computing power and efficiency to a new order of magnitude In short, we connect chips to create powerful and energy-efficient networks, overcoming connectivity limitations in the semiconductor industry. We deliver the graphene solution   The Role At Black Semiconductor, we are currently searching for a CD-SEM Expert to join us and support the advanced semiconductor manufacturing and technology development. In this role, you will operate, optimize, and maintain CD-SEM metrology tools to deliver accurate nanoscale measurements on semiconductor wafers. You will play a key role in enabling process control, yield improvement, and advanced node development by translating critical dimension data into actionable insights for process and integration teams. Working closely with lithography, etch, and metrology engineers, you will help ensure stable and high-performing development and production processes. In addition, you will support metrology capability building through training activities, documentation, and backup support for broader metrology engineering tasks when required.   To join our team, you should be excited to - Operate CD-SEM tools to perform critical dimension, profile, and defect measurements on semiconductor wafers - Ensure accuracy, repeatability, and reproducibility of CD measurements for process control and yield improvement - Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to ensure tool stability and uptime - Collaborate with vendors for equipment repairs, maintenance, and spare parts replacement when needed - Work closely with process, lithography, and etch teams to correlate CD-SEM data with process performance - Generate reports and dashboards on key metrology metrics (e.g., CD bias, LWR, LER) to support process monitoring - Act as backup support for broader metrology engineering activities when required, support training of colleagues and maintain CD-SEM training documentation - Drive improvements in metrology methods and ensure all activities comply with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines Your Qualifications - Educational background in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field - 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments - Hands-on experience with CD-SEM tools (e.g., Hitachi, Applied Materials) in a fab environment - Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Python, MATLAB) and strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail - Ability to work in cleanroom environments and perform under tight production deadlines - Strong teamwork and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration, with willingness to support training and knowledge sharing activities - Understanding of semiconductor processes such as photolithography and etch (preferred)   Our work culture People Over Processes. At Black Semiconductor, flexibility is key—we ensure work adapts to
