We deliver exceptional consultancy services, champion sustainability and most importantly, empower and prioritise our people.  As a proud B Corp, we’re committed to high standards of social and environmental performance and making the journey smooth and successful for our clients. We’re big enough to lead complex, high-profile projects, yet small enough to genuinely support and care for our employees – our 'Fulkers people'.  What does the role involve?  As a CDM Principal Designer, you will provide our clients with comprehensive advice on all aspects of the H&S and CDM Regulations. You will also provide a structured platform in which to undertake effective design risk management whilst fulfilling the Principal Designer duties on projects, from feasibility through to handover of the Health and Safety File.  Responsibilities  Act as Principal Designer and ensure client duties are fulfilled under CDM 2015  Plan, coordinate, and manage the pre-construction phase of projects, including submission of F10 notifications to the HSE  Advise clients and project teams on health and safety and design risk management throughout design and construction  Ensure design team compliance with CDM 2015, reviewing and assisting with Design Risk Assessments  Prepare and review key project health and safety documentation, including pre-construction information, risk assessments, method statements and Health & Safety Files  Conduct CDM site audits and monitor health and safety performance on behalf of the client  Attend design, site and progress meetings to support effective communication between contractors, designers and clients  Provide support to Senior Consultants on complex or high-risk projects  Review O&M manuals and ensure accurate and compliant handover documentation  Uphold health and safety standards and support environmental and social impact  Carry out additional duties in line with the role as required
