🚛 Local CDL Driver – Chester, NY | Local Grocery Delivery CALL 269-408-6738 7am to 7pm daily!! Pay: $85,000 – $100,000 per year $0.68 – $0.74 per mile Stop Pay: $28.50–$30 (non-NYC) $62.50 per NYC borough stop Detention: $15/hr after 1 hr (store) or 2 hrs (backhaul) Safety Training: $20/hr Schedule: Start time: 10 AM – 3 PM 5 days on / 2 days off (Tues–Wed off) Optional 6th day (mandatory on major holidays) Miles: Avg 1,400 miles/week Local routes within 250 miles of Chester, NY Job Details: Deliver fresh & frozen groceries 48’–53’ reefer trailers Mostly no-touch freight (customer unloads) 2 loads per day or 1 long load Slip-seat day cabs (automatic & manual) Trucks average 3 years or newer Uniforms provided Delivery Areas: NY Hudson Valley, CT, NJ NYC & Long Island after training Only 20–25% NYC freight New drivers run NYC after 6 months Requirements: CDL with 3+ months experience Reliable transportation to work Good customer service skills Will work holidays if scheduled Why This Job?
