When you start at 1915 South, you are not just starting your next job but beginning your new career. *MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG TEST AND BACKGROUND CHECK* Job Duties: Fully understand how to operate and safely drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of over 26,000 lbs. Perform inspections and clean your vehicle before and after each trip. Maintain maintenance as needed; refuel, change oil, tire pressure, etc. Keep managers notified of any maintenance or delivery issues encountered. Keep documentation of driving and delivery logs Adhere to company rules and regulations and obey all applicable traffic laws Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and prioritize safety at all times Job Requirements: Must be able to work evening and night shifts with a full-time 40-hour work week. Proven experience with CDL commercial driving Skilled in driving and parking large heavy semi vehicles Must be detail-oriented, dependable, disciplined, resourceful, and alert Ability to work independently and a high level of composure and stress management Proficient with GPS, routing systems, and reading maps Valid commercial driver’s licenses; CDL and DOT physical certification Must pass all CDL driving requirements
