Stellenbeschreibung: Pitney Bowes for a CDL B Truck Driver in Hartford, Connecticut! This is for a full-time direct hire CDL B Truck Driver position. There are 2 job slots available. Your pay will be $24.50 an hour paid weekly plus possible overtime if available. Your workdays will be Monday through Friday with occasional weekends if needed. Your start time varies between 7:30AM to 2PM EST. You will work 8 – 10 hours per day based on business needs. What We Offer: • Local Deliveries and Pick-Ups. • Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k Benefits. • Daily Home Time. • Clean, Late Model Straight and Box Trucks • Freight Handling What You Will Do: • Responsible for picking up and delivering mail from our customers. • Inspect products to verify conformance to customer specifications, and USPS regulations. • Ensure that the mail is reviewed for proper dates and a pickup slip is attached with each order prior to loading the truck. • Performing warehouse duties include wrapping pallets, stacking trays, and loading trucks. • Maintains daily driver’s log for mileage and cargo. • Maintain documentation for customer pickups such as collecting signatures and tracking/documenting mail counts and assisting with mail related questions. • Keeps vehicle, production floor, and area clean. • Other duties as assigned. As a  CDL B Truck Driver,   you have : • Must be minimum 21 years in age. • Ability to drive a CDL Straight/Box Truck or equivalent. • Valid CDL Class B state motor vehicle operator’s license in the state where the driver resides and meets applicable DOT requirements for CDL. • Must have a minimum of 6 months verifiable Straight/Box Truck driving experience in similar sized vehicles (i.e., Straight Truck) within the last 3 years with a safe driving record. • Must be flexible • Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records. • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., walk, stand, stoop and bend with or without accommodation. • Basic Computer skills and ability to read a map and understand directions. • Must have the ability to work mandatory overtime that may include weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or no advance notice. Our Team: Pitney Bowes Presort Services performs mail sorting; performing some of the work that would typically be performed by the USPS®.  For completing this work, Presort Services receives discounted postage rates.  By performing this sorting work on behalf of our clients, we are able to share a portion of that discount with them.  Our national network of operating centers processes over 17 billion pieces of mail annually.  We provide mailers with end-to-end solutions from pick-up at their location into delivery into the postal system network, providing optimal postage savings.
