Job Advert Tees Valley   Hospital Catering Assistant Full & Part Time Hours Available   (will include weekends ,   evenings   & bank holidays ) & Catering Assistant Bank Contract Tees Valley   Hospital   part of the Ramsay Health Care Group   we   are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team .    Tees Valley   Hospital   is   in the grounds of Acklam Hall i n Middlesbrough and opened in   February 2018 .    The   hospital   deliver s   a range of specialties including endoscopy, orthopaedics, general surgery, plastic surgery, urology, gynaecology, dermatology to both NHS and   self funding   and insured patients. Reporting to the   Catering Supervisor   you will provide a high standard of catering service, as part of the support services team.   The department opens from 7.00am until   6. 00 pm with a variety of shifts available during those hours. Experience is not essential as we will provide all training necessary for the position although it will   benefit   you if   you have   worked previously in a   fast-paced   environment to   high standards . Key responsibilities will include: • Possess Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate for Catering (if not already held company funded training must be undertaken) • To obtain food and beverage orders from patients,   staff   and visitors to the hospital • To   assist   in the preparation and service of food to patients,   staff   and visitors to the hospital • To   assist   in the preparation and service of buffets to visitors,   functions   and meetings. • To clean   on a daily basis   all areas of the catering department to the agreed standard • To have a good understanding of current health and hygiene   regulations and   ensure that these are adhered to in the preparation and service of all   foodstuffs.
