Caregiver Type: Full-Time and Part-Time/On-Call (PRN) available Shift: FT: NOC shift (10pm-6am), 4 days on/2 days off/rotating schedule (2 days in Assisted Living, 2 days in Memory Care) PRN: Working in Assisted Living and Memory Care, On-Call, All shifts available, Weekend availability needed Wage:  $18.58-$24.24/hr DOE Attendance bonus : The perfect attendance bonus in a pay period will be $100.00 for a full-time employee and $75.00 for a part-time employee. Location: Avamere at St Helens - 2400 Gable Road, St Helens, OR 97051 Apply at  www.TeamAvamere.com Job Summary The caregiver's duties encompass a wide range of tasks, including assisting with activities of daily living, emotional support, housekeeping, and ensuring the resident's safety and well-being. Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Personal Hygiene: Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.  Mobility Assistance: Supporting residents with walking, transferring, and using mobility aids.  Meal Preparation: Assisting with setting up meals, cutting up food if needed, and removing trays from rooms. Emotional Support and Companionship: Providing Emotional Support: Offering empathy, listening to residents, and providing encouragement.  Companionship: Engaging in conversations, activities, and social interactions to combat loneliness and isolation.   Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including laundry, cleaning, and tidying up.   Health Monitoring and Medical Advocacy: Observing residents for changes in health, reporting concerns to medical professionals, and monitoring vital signs.  Other: Answer resident calls for assistance timely. Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe work environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Maintain confidentiality of resident information.  Maintain a safe work environment.  Report safety concerns in the resident apartments to the supervisor. Assists with the orientation of new residents and staff when assigned. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.
