Make a difference every day Kensa Health supports people to live well at home through high-quality, reliable community care. As our Barnsley service continues to grow, we’re looking for a Care Co-ordinator to help keep care running smoothly for both our clients and our care teams. This is a predominantly office-based role, working closely with the Registered Manager. You’ll play a key part in coordinating care, supporting staff and making sure clients receive consistent, well-planned support. What you’ll do • Coordinate daily care schedules, allocate visits and respond to changes in staffing, service user needs and operational demands. • Carry out care reviews, spot checks, staff supervisions, competency observations and quality monitoring activities to support service excellence. • Liaise with service users, families, healthcare professionals and external agencies to ensure effective communication and positive outcomes. • Help with managing Hub recruitment activity using BambooHR, including arranging and conducting interviews and assisting with training and onboarding. • Maintain accurate and confidential records relating to care delivery, staffing, recruitment and compliance requirements. • Monitor staff training, DBS checks, right to work documentation and other regulatory requirements to ensure compliance. • Support the implementation of new care packages and changes to existing services. • Participate in the on-call rota and respond appropriately to out-of-hours emergencies, staff absences and service user concerns. • Promote the values, reputation and objectives of Kensa Health Homecare at all times. What you’ll get • Basic Salary:  £28,119.00  per annum • Plus on-call payments. Typical annual earnings are approximately £32,091 before tax after participation in the on-call rota. (based on every 4th weekday and one in every 4 weekends). • 28 days of paid annual leave • Monday to Friday working hours, 9am to 5pm • On call duties on a rota basis, typically one or two weekdays per week and alternate weekends • Structured training, supervision and ongoing support • Leadership development opportunities • Clear progression opportunities within a growing organisation About you • Experience coordinating people, rotas or workloads, ideally in health or social care • Confident communicating with staff, clients and professionals • Organised, responsive and comfortable managing a busy workload • Calm under pressure with a practical, problem-solving approach • Compassionate, professional and people-focused • Comfortable using IT systems, including rota planning and Microsoft Office • Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes • Willing to complete an enhanced DBS check Why Kensa Health We’re a supportive and inclusive team that values kindness and respect.
