As a Cardiac Specialist, you will contribute to the collection and processing of electrocardiogram (ECG) and other cardiac safety data that help advance life-changing therapies. What You'll Be Doing
• Perform interval duration and rate measurements on digital and paper ECGs according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Evaluate, place, and adjust calipers on digital ECGs using approved measurement methodologies.
• Utilize validated software to convert PNG images into XML files and verify conversion accuracy through waveform assessment.
• Accurately calibrate PDF image scaling to collect measurements from paper ECGs.
• Process cardiac data from continuous Holter recordings.
• Extract timepoint-specific 12-lead ECGs and export XML files to designated databases for IDM measurement.
• Evaluate ECGs for safety and alert findings and notify appropriate teams according to written procedures.
• Perform Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) processing activities.
• Balance multiple workflows to support cardiac safety data analysis according to operational priorities.
• Participate in quality assurance activities to demonstrate accuracy, precision, and repeatability.
• Read, understand, and apply all job-related SOPs and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs).
• Meet or exceed departmental productivity and quality metrics.
• Escalate system performance concerns through appropriate management and IT channels.
What We Look For
• Associate Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in a related scientific, healthcare, or life sciences field preferred.
• ECG certification or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• 1–2 years of experience in an ECG Core Lab, cardiac safety environment, or regulated clinical research setting.
• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), GDPR, and data privacy requirements.
• Experience processing ECG, Holter, or other cardiac safety data.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working successfully within a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, database systems, and web-based tools.
• Ability to perform effectively in a metrics-driven production environment with tight turnaround times.
