Car Wash District Manager Locations: Taunton Area - Main Office is in Canton MA Position Type: Full-Time, In-Person Compensation: Starting at $80,000+ annually Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Car Wash District Manager to oversee multiple high-volume car wash locations across Taunton Area. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, team development, customer satisfaction, safety compliance, and overall performance across assigned sites. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader , operationally minded, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment while managing multiple teams and priorities. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership • Oversee day-to-day operations for multiple car wash locations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and high performance • Drive exceptional customer service standards and promptly resolve customer concerns or escalations • Maximize car counts, throughput speed, and wash quality through training, performance standards, and process improvement • Monitor and control site expenses including chemicals, utilities, repairs, and equipment replacement • Manage and enforce the Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP) to minimize downtime and equipment failure Team Leadership & Development • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and retain Site Managers and supervisory staff • Build, mentor, and multiply high-performing management teams • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and documented discipline when necessary • Lead the growth and development of current and future leaders within the organization • Foster a positive, safe, and accountable workplace culture Safety, Compliance & Standards • Ensure all locations operate in full compliance with OSHA requirements, company policies, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations • Enforce safety standards and promote a culture of safety across all sites • Conduct routine site inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness Reporting, Metrics & Communication • Conduct meetings with Site Managers to review KPIs, performance metrics, and operational goals • Track and analyze performance data including car counts, labor, downtime, and customer feedback • Attend all required training sessions, leadership meetings, and company events • Utilize basic computer tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, tracking, and communication Qualifications & Experience • 5+ years of successful multi-site management experience , preferably in car wash, retail, automotive, or fast-paced service environments • Proven track record of developing leaders and building high-performance teams • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Customer-focused mindset with strong conflict-resolution abilities • Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment operations • Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities simultaneously • Comfortable working in outdoor, fast-paced, and physically demanding environments • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends , with an expectation of 50+ hours per week Essential Skills & Traits • Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and influence teams • Highly organized with effective time-management skills • Process-driven with a continuous improvement mindset • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working around equipment • Adaptable, resilient, and solution-oriented • Professional, clean-cut appearance Desired Personal Traits: Friendly, attentive, optimistic, persuasive, versatile, cooperative, big-picture thinker, problem solver, and team-focused Working Conditions & Physical Requirements • Frequent exposure to loud noise, wet and humid environments • Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions including heat, cold, and humidity • Work around fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and moving mechanical parts • Ability to lift, push, or carry 50+ pounds • On-site, hands-on role across multiple locations Schedule • Full-time role • 8–10-hour shifts • Monday through Friday with weekends as needed • Holidays as required Benefits • Competitive salary • 401(k) with company matching • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off • Retirement plan • Employee discounts • Flexible scheduling It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
