Five Rings is a proprietary trading firm that develops trading software and strategies across global markets. This role involves working with senior software engineers and traders to build trading applications in C++ on Linux, including strategy implementation, exchange connectivity, user interfaces, and mathematical model translation within distributed systems. What You'll Do • Develop trading software in C++ on Linux systems • Implement trading strategies and connect to financial exchanges • Design trader-facing interfaces and applications • Translate mathematical models into production software code • Work within distributed systems spanning multiple geographic locations • Collaborate closely with senior engineers, traders, and quantitative analysts What You Need • Strong software engineering skills and ability to write high-quality code • Ability to work effectively as part of a team • Willingness to learn from senior engineers and grow as a mentor • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (implied by 'Campus Full Time 2027' - recent graduate/graduating class) Annual base salary $300,000; total compensation includes base salary and discretionary bonus
