Calibrations & Controls Engineer – Glasgow – Salary Competitive Our client is seeking a skilled Calibrations & Controls Engineer to join their growing engineering team in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong background in instrumentation, process control, and automation within a manufacturing or process environment. Are you who they’re looking for? • Degree qualified in Electrical, Process Control, or a related engineering discipline • Previous experience within calibration and process control engineering in manufacturing or chemical industries • Strong understanding of instrumentation including flow, level, temperature, weighing, pH, conductivity, and density devices • Experience working with PLCs and SCADA systems such as Allen Bradley, Siemens S7, and GE IFIX • Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO14001, and IATF16949:2016 standards • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills What does the day-to-day look like? • Developing and maintaining calibration systems and schedules in line with industry standards • Performing calibration and fault-finding activities across a range of process instrumentation • Supporting automation and control systems including PLCs, SCADA, and HMIs • Analysing calibration data and implementing corrective actions and process improvements • Working closely with production and quality teams to resolve process control issues • Maintaining accurate documentation and supporting compliance with safety and environmental regulations • Delivering training and technical support to operations and maintenance teams What’s on offer? • Health insurance and healthcare package • 25 days holiday plus 4 additional days • Supportive and collaborative working environment • Ongoing training, development, and career progression opportunities Interested?
