· Dual trade role with awesome scope (Cable Jointing and Electrical Fitting) Excellent location in the beautiful Bay of Plenty Great rates of pay, security and projects We’re looking for a skilled Cable Jointer / Electrical Fitter to join a well-established electricity infrastructure team. This is a great opportunity to work across both underground cables and substation electrical work, gaining variety and hands-on experience in a supportive team environment. What’s in it for you? Competitive pay and benefits Varied work across underground and substation environments A strong safety-first culture Opportunities to expand your skills across multiple network disciplines Work alongside a highly experienced and supportive team About the role You’ll be involved in: Installing, jointing, and terminating low and high voltage underground cables Electrical fitting and maintenance in substations and network assets Fault finding and repairs across the network Supporting new installations, upgrades, and projects Collaborating with field crews and project teams Ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards What we’re looking for Experience as a Cable Jointer, Electrical Fitter, or both Relevant electrical trade qualification Experience in electricity distribution networks Current EWRB registration and practising licence (or working towards it) Commitment to health, safety, and quality workmanship Full Class 1 driver licence If you want a role where you can apply and grow your skills across cable jointing and electrical fitting, while working on essential infrastructure, we’d love to hear from you.
