As a Senior Associate,   Corporate and   Private Business (Business Tax), you will provide customised tax advisory and compliance services, supporting clients ranging from   large multinationals, corporations both listed and unlisted,   family enterprises and partnerships to   privately-held   companies. What   you’ll   do: • Develop and   maintain   strong relationships with a portfolio of   corporate and   private business   clients, understanding their unique tax needs, and   providing   tailored advice. • Ensure clients meet their tax obligations by preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current regulations. • Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies to   optimize   their tax positions, including succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, and reorganization. • Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations, conduct in-depth research to provide clients with informed guidance. • Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment. • Identify   potential tax risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, protecting clients' interests. • Provide updates to clients on tax-related issues, helping them stay informed about changes in tax legislation. • Provide tax compliance, tax   planning   and tax advisory services for large client groups with multiple types of entities including trusts, companies,   partnership   and individuals; • Assist   clients with tax related services for   acquiring   businesses such as tax due diligence, reviewing tax sections of purchase agreements and the process of implementing the acquired entities such as tax consolidation calculations and stub period tax returns; What we are looking for: • Driving client growth by delivering exceptional service and   identifying   opportunities for   additional   services and solutions. • Innovate and streamline tax processes within the team, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. • Work closely with other departments (e.g., audit, advisory) to provide holistic solutions to clients. • Help expand the firm's market presence by   identifying   and pursuing new business opportunities. • Continuously develop your   expertise   and credentials, contributing to the firm's reputation for excellence.
