Job Summary Responsible for continuously driving a culture of excellence in the organization, coaching and enabling waste removal activities using lean and six sigma approaches and tools and guiding actions to a sustainable conclusion. What a typical day looks like: • Support lean and six sigma activities as defined in the GBE A3. • Support in designing and building workstations, supermarket racks, benches, trolleys etc. • Familiar with and able to use Moonshine tools and machines effectively. • Ensure good 5S in the work area. • Implement identified Best practices timely. • Prepare and upload completed kaizen projects in the BE on-line Systems. • Maintain and update various indicators on the lean gallery and other defined locations. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: • Typically requires 2 years of experience in related field. • Use of the following tools may be required:  Pipe cutters, drills, power tools, lean and six sigma tools, maintain catalogue of   work stations , trolleys etc. • Telephone skills, data entry, office software to include, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation. • Demonstrates advanced technical skills which may be used to conduct on-the-job training and/or lead/guide other employees. • Highly skilled with ability to move between projects. • Demonstrates broad knowledge of functional techniques and has input to process improvement.
