Description
Help make the world more hospitable The hospitality industry is uniquely human, and it deserves technology that’s just as inspiring as the people behind it. At Mews, we’re transforming the industry with a platform that helps hotels run smarter, move faster and create better guest experiences. You’ll work with smart, curious people who care deeply about what they do. You’ll have autonomy and the trust to make good decisions and move quickly. And you’ll enjoy a real sense of purpose as you see the impact of what we’re building. If you’re motivated by ownership, curiosity and meaningful impact, and are driven to deliver consistent high performance, you’ll feel at home here. About the role Let's get into the specifics. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it into a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this: Hotels are behind on technology. Most of them know it. Your job is to change that — starting with the Nordics. As a Business Development Representative for Northern Europe, you'll own the top of the pipeline for one of Mews's growth markets: identifying the right prospects, opening the right conversations, and handing off well-qualified opportunities to the Account Executive team. The hospitality industry is at an inflection point, and the hotels that modernise now will outperform everyone who waits. You'll be the first voice they hear from Mews. This role exists because the Nordic market represents a real, near-term opportunity — and Mews needs someone who can open it systematically, not opportunistically. You'll work closely with the regional Sales team and report into your team lead with clear sight lines to pipeline targets and what good looks like. What you would do Introduce Mews to prospective hotel clients through cold outreach — calls, emails, and targeted sequences — with a focus on Northern Europe. Qualify inbound enquiries from the website and marketing campaigns, converting interest into booked meetings. Research and identify new business opportunities in the Swedish and overall Nordic market, building your own pipeline rather than waiting for inbound to do the work. Organise and coordinate discovery meetings between prospective clients and the Account Executive team. Track and report pipeline activity to the Business Development Manager on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Stay current on Mews products, pricing, and payment plans so you can speak to them accurately from the first call. What you would bring Fluency in Swedish and English — other Nordic fluency preferred.  Desire for sales as a career.  Ideally a background in hospitality — you know how hotels operate and can speak to operators credibly. Comfort building your own pipeline: you don't wait for inbound to do the work. Clear, direct communication — you know how to adjust your approach for a hotel GM versus a group procurement team. You use AI as a real part of your workflow, not as a novelty — for research, outreach drafting, or pipeline organisation. Based in Sweden. Nice to have Existing network within the Swedish or Nordic hospitality industry. Familiarity with CRM tools and outbound sales platforms. An interest in building toward an Account Executive role over time. Experience in a BDR or prospecting role at a SaaS company, with a track record of hitting activity and pipeline targets.
