Business Development Executive Location: Remote (preferred locations Northamptonshire/Milton Keynes) Reports to: Group CEO Salary: £45,000 pa (OTE up to £60,000 pa) Join a growing team making a real i mpact At i mpact HR, we help SME businesses protect, empower, grow and thrive through practical HR, Health & Safety, Payroll, Recruitment and HR Technology solutions. As our business continues to grow across the UK, we are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Executive to help drive new client growth, strengthen relationships and expand our presence within the SME market. Submit your CV for the role of Business Development Executive What you will be doing You will be responsible for identifying, generating and developing new business opportunities across the SME market. You will work closely with operational and leadership teams to support sustainable growth across the business. Business development • Generate new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, partnerships and outbound activity • Build relationships with business owners, Managing Directors, HR leaders and senior decision makers • Attend face-to-face client meetings and introductory discussions across the region • Promote the full range of i mpact HR services across HR, Health & Safety, Payroll, Recruitment and HR Technology • Identify opportunities for both immediate and future business • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline • Achieve agreed activity and revenue targets • Support wider group growth initiatives and campaigns Your day to day will include: • Lead generation and prospecting • Research and identify target organisations aligned to our Ideal Client Profile • Conduct outbound prospecting activity through telephone, email, LinkedIn and networking • Follow up inbound and marketing-generated enquiries • Qualify opportunities and understand client challenges and objectives • Arrange meetings and introductions with senior consultants where appropriate • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline activity and reporting • Networking, events and brand representation • Represent i mpact HR at networking events, seminars, exhibitions, expos and business events • Build strong relationships within local and regional business communities • Act as a visible ambassador for the i mpact HR brand • Support webinars, roundtables and thought leadership activity • Develop relationships with prospective clients, introducers and strategic partners • Maintain a professional and credible personal presence both online and in person • Consultative relationship building • Understand client challenges, risks and commercial objectives • Identify opportunities where i mpact HR can support business growth and operational improvement • Build trusted long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders • Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client handover • Support account growth opportunities across existing client relationships • Help deliver an outstanding client experience throughout the sales journey • Reporting and pipeline management • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity tracking • Produce regular pipeline, activity and opportunity reports • Track lead conversion and sales performance • Monitor pipeline progression and forecasting • Take ownership of your pipeline and proactively manage opportunities through the sales process • Share market insight and feedback with leadership teams • Ensure opportunities are progressed proactively and professionally About You You are motivated by building relationships, creating opportunities and making things happen.
