The Opportunity   You’re joining at a pivotal moment in The Trade Desk’s growth across ANZ and the wider APAC region, stepping into a newly established,  high-growth function  'Growth Team’ specifical ly tasked to  identify , sign a nd  onboard  high potential new business opportunities .  designed to unlock a significant new commercial growth engine.       As a new team,  you’ll support the VP of Growth to lay the foundations for sustained success ,   building out  systems,  processes  and ways of working that accelerate the acquisition  and  on ramp  of New Business.    Who we’re looking for You are a commercially minded strategic seller who enjoys building as much as selling. You thrive where not everything is fully defined, bringing structure, initiative and sound judgement to complex challenges. Comfortable with ambiguity, you do not wait for direction - you spot opportunities, solve problems and keep momentum moving. You are equally comfortable having executive-level commercial conversations as you are rolling up your sleeves to execute. You bring a strong point of view, contribute ideas that shape the direction of the team, and are motivated by building something that will scale over time. Most importantly, you're a highly collaborative relationship builder with exceptional emotional intelligence. You know how to read a room, adapt your communication style and influence a broad range of stakeholders. You build trust quickly, challenge constructively and put the success of the team ahead of individual wins. Your experience may come from ANZ or another market; what matters most is the depth of your programmatic/digital advertising expertise and your ability to build senior relationships quickly in a new market. What you’ll do   Build and cultivate a pipeline of high-value prospects, developing strategic relationships with senior commercial and contract decision-makers across advertisers. Lead complex new business opportunities end-to-end, including qualification, discovery, RFP responses, commercial strategy, contract negotiation and execution. Partner closely with Client Services to deliver a seamless transition from sale to onboarding, ensuring new clients are set up for long-term success through a high-quality discovery process. Position The Trade Desk as a trusted advisor and thought leader, helping clients navigate the evolving digital advertising landscape through compelling commercial narratives and informed perspectives on AI and emerging technologies. Build strong cross-functional partnerships across Sales, Client Services, Product, Marketing, Trading and Revenue to mobilise expertise, remove barriers and accelerate commercial outcomes.
