Description
Responsibilities:
•
Conduct end-to-end business analysis and facilitate workshops to define business requirements and support product roadmap planning.
•
Gather, analyze, and document requirements from multiple business units, and translate them into clear and detailed user stories.
•
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to identify issues, understand key business needs, and build a prioritized backlog based on business value.
•
Work closely with UX/UI teams to ensure usability considerations are captured and accurately reflected in the requirements and proposed solutions.
•
Assess the feasibility and impacts of proposed designs, features, and solutions from both business and technical perspectives.
•
Lead and facilitate backlog grooming and refinement sessions with development teams to ensure requirements are well understood and ready for delivery.
•
Act as a key liaison between business units and delivery teams, providing timely clarifications and ensuring smooth, transparent communication.
•
Contribute as part of a high-performing solution delivery team (including Business/Tech BAs, Developers, and Product Owners) to drive initiatives and implementations across markets.
Requirements:
•
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (such as Business, Information Systems, or related fields).
•
Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance domain, in a business analysis or similar role.
•
Strong knowledge of insurance, with exposure to claims operations considered a distinct advantage.
• Solid experience working on customer-facing digital platforms, such as mobile apps or web-based applications.
•
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and hands-on experience with Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
•
Proven experience acting as a domain subject matter expert (SME) in delivering key projects using Agile practices.
•
Self-motivated, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities, and perform effectively under pressure.
•
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and sound business judgment.
•
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to manage and influence diverse stakeholders.
•
Excellent communication skills in both Cantonese and English are essential.
